Our History
Our orchard is a family endeavor. In the late 1970’s, Adolph “Sonny” Gebert had a dream of returning to Central Texas and planting a pecan orchard. After months of searching, he found the perfect location and soil in Comanche County. With the help of family, he and his wife, Norene, planted the first trees in 1981 and expanded the orchard in 1986. With quality always in mind, the new section was managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for six years as part of their organic pecan research program. Today, Sean McNeely--grandson of Adolph "Sonny" Gebert and Norene Gebert--has carried on the tradition of providing quality pecans and continues to work the 20 acre, 700 plus trees. We are proud to continue the tradition of producing premium pecans throughout Texas.
